Right, so if I've got this right, the Staggerwing was a similar concept to the
Barnes Wallis 'Swing Wing' yes? The wings sort of staggered around a bit once
you got close to the speed of the car on the road underneath you? (Minor One -
the speed of ground). This was achieved by selective strut wire tensioning and
running the engine on a mix of AvGas and alcohol?
I'd have a better idea if all those dopey kids didn't keep getting in the way.
