> Ah, go where the food is!
Well? It's true in nature, history and business. Seen a Macrame shop lately?
This is very true with my own photo business. I'm getting ready to
launch Zone-10 2.0 and there is some rebranding effort, but a whole
lot of result of soul-searching and careful analysis of the
marketplace. I'm not going for the fat part of the market, but to a
market segment with just enough business (without much competition) to
keep myself as busy (and successful) as I desire.
We moved to Iowa 14 years ago because of an opportunity for my wife. I
was "flexible" at that time with a work-from-home opportunity that
ended up crashing to the ground. It took a while for me to find
another opportunity, which involved changing industries. Had we been
willing to move (go where the food is), I had excellent job offers in
places like Dallas, Chicago, Nashville, LA...
