Have to agree with you on the Tamron, Chris - bought one new in 1981, cost more than I had paid the previous year for OM-10 with 50/1.8. Lost it ten years ago (with the OM-10 it was sitting on), but found a replacement for somewhat less than the current price of said OM-10 with 50/1.8. I instead have a Tamron Adaptall SP 35-80/2.8-3.8 with 1:2.5 macro that is half the length. I got it in a swap for a Pentak K-1000 at the local camera shop. A lens that I'm interested in finding is the Sun Optical 38-90mm 3-touch.
