I've found that I really don't need 28mm for wildflowers, but I do
occasionally need a wider angle for landscapes, particularly in canyon
settings. I have a 37-105/3.5 and a 35-140/3.5, either of which would be
better for wildflowers and wildlife, and a 24-45/3.5-4.5 that would be better
for landscapes. They are all Soligor/Sun lenses with Pentax K mounts, so I
would just have to put the PK adapter on the E-500/510. I'm still looking for
a Pentax K mount for the Vivitar TX lenses.
