Look at the acratech GP ballhead. It can be reversed upside down to act as a
leveling base/pano head. Also functions as a gimbal head. (plus a regular
ball head too of course). Pretty versatile. Light but strong enough to hold
a 4x5, no problem. I use it with a Canham DLC, various Graflexes, RZ67,
Mamiya 7, 35mm, etc.
