That's pretty much a hallmark of the Jag sedans. Extremely competent
handling, but within the limits of a 2000lb car. Not sure if they still do
it, but for a long time they used inboard brake discs right next to the
gearbox to take the weight off of the wheels, and in turn the suspension.
Neat engineering, but I would think a nightmare for the mechanic who had to
change out pads and rotors...
