Back in our before-kids days, I checked out a sweet little 2-door
convertible jag, which I think was an XJ6. I had my RX7 at the time
and thought that maybe it would be a nice upgrade. The power was
great, and the car quick enough, but compared to my RX7, it cornered
like a plate full of macaroni. It was a luxury "sports" car which
meant that it sacrificed some of the brute abilities in exchange for
creature comfort. It did a great job of powering out of the corners
and I could hang the tail out, but it was just a wee bit too soft.
But, in all fairness, I REALLY liked the handling of my RX7.
