I did get my own doctor to at least read Ravnskov's "The Cholesterol
Myths" (unfortunately, now out of print) and his only comment was: "That
was interesting." I've also given him several research papers to read
but, unfortunately, most of this stuff is statistical and his eyes just
gloss over as he doesn't understand it. What he does understand is the
continuous parade of drug reps who roll in and out of his and his
associates offices. I'm constantly amazed how many they are and how
frequently I see them. I don't believe I've ever been there when I
haven't seen at least one. But I should note that there are about 8-10
physicians in the practice.
