Guy on another list says this Pacific Image scanner has been great (this one's for 35mm): http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/487000-REG/Pacific_Image_7250PRO3_PrimeFilm_7250Pro3_Film_Scanner.html It's $350 and does a whole roll in a gulp! Guy says it's on par with the Nikon. Lots of complaints about SW and unfriendly disposition to Mac users. Certainly not a deal-killer for me. Except ... Apparently, Ed Hamrick may not have them working with Vuescan just yet. Anyway, I'm just an interested bystander.
