In practice, the 60D battery long outlasts any day's shooting of mine. I do use
live view regularly, but only for a
rather small % of all shots, so I've not noticed any difference.
As a practical matter, 360 shots on a fresh battery would do for all but the
maddest day's shooting for me. I carry a
spare anyway, so I can't see where it would be a problem.
