It's the lower half of the door. I flew in one a few times, and in the
summer we left the doors open but kept the bottom half unclipped. When
approaching a stall, it will rise up.
Somewhat similar to the slip indicator in an Aeronca 7AC/7EC. You kept
the windows open and felt the air going past your nose.
