#1 son would point out that The Times is the only one regarded as an acceptable
source in a courtroom.
He mentions a recent scary moment in which he was writing a (not too
complimentary) story about Rupert just as the man himself walked past his desk.
I think the measure of their quality is how they reported that story - he felt
that they were just as critical as the opposition.
