I've never seen nor heard a B-36 in the air but the B-52s and,
especially, the B-58s used to wake me up in the morning when I worked at
Kelly AFB. I know the B-58 was called the Hustler but it should have
been named the Banshee. That's what it sounded like on the approach. :-)
