I have the book. Don't really like it. Much prefer Katrin Eismann's
book. Shame that she is not upgrading it for the later versions of
Photoshop. I have my latest attempt on pbase. The five pieces of the
torn up image at:

And the next two are results. The original was taken around 1890 of my
brother in law's grandmother. There are a couple of others in that
gallery, too.
