And those lost packages are most likely First Class international mail that 
have no tracking, usually packages of low value.

I do not recall ever losing anything mailed International Priority (and up) 
that has tracking in the internet.  And it's been many-many years when a 
package mailed in the USA was lost (the mail truck got on fire and 
everything inside the truck, including my package, was destroyed - now, how 
often does that happen?)
