A wacky bit of Victorian engineering, designed by a French bloke with
a big twirly moustache and a hint of madness in the eyes. Me and a
couple of friends had a look around it yesterday, and one of them
talked a man from the council (the engineer responsible for all of
Newport's bridges, in fact) into taking us up to the top and over the
walkway. Seemed a good opportunity to put the 7-14 on my E-3 again.
It's illuminated after dark, so we went for a curry & came back later.

Stand firm for what you believe in, until and unless logic and experience
prove you wrong. Remember: when the emperor looks naked, the emperor *is*
naked, the truth and a lie are not "sort-of the same thing" and there is
no aspect, no facet, no moment of life that can't be improved with pizza.
