Bob, your "one picture" mantra seems to only work with a 16 MB CF card. :)
Last evening I was hired to shoot a portrait of a two year old. Babies
and toddlers can be a challenge and this was no exception. I earned my
sitting fee. We did it outdoors at a particular park. My hitrate with
photographing humanoid-shaped alien lifeforms is never all that great
to begin with, but she made it especially ornerous. My total shoot
quantity was just under 250 pictures.
What surprised me when I did the first pass edit last night where I
culled the obvious flubs, is that I have an inordinate amount of
keepers, Probably somewhere around 50 showable pictures. A 20% success
rate is unheard of. But then I got to thinking about all the shots I
never got in the first place... She was a handful and after 10 minutes
she was completely done with pictures so We had to just let her run
and whenever she stopped for more than a half second, I would shoot a
picture.
Landscapes are so much easier...
Most were taken with the E-1 and 35-80. Not a single keeper with the
L1. Remember what I wrote about latency?
