I tested a roll and found it to be adequate for my purposes. The
blocked-up shadows don't bother me too much because I actually prefer
having a bit of a foot to the images. It's more like slide film than
print film in that regard. I didn't specifically notice the blue
shadows being more of a problem than Ektachrome or most digital in
that regard. Hopefully, it won't be a problem for this project, but
with digital post-production I'm not too concerned. It seemed to track
close enough for my purposes. For a print film, I did like the color
richness without going completely nuclear.
Truth be told, I selected it because the store had a huge stock of it
and they sold it to me for a massive discount.
This stuff is about the most grain-free film I've ever experienced,
but it still goes just a little gritty on the Nikon.
