yes, the G2 contrast I have not experienced with any other lens. The Xpan was
fun to use with the 90mm. When you actually have a panoramic framing
viewfinder, at least for me, it changed my perspective and I saw more things to
shoot with it. Today, with digital and panning for panoramic, you have to
visualize more with the noggin. With the Xpan, I was surprised how often I shot
vertical, with the 90mm being more selective. When you pan horizontally, you
don't think as much about perspective distortion. But shooting vertically, it
is very apparent. It really takes a shift lens to do what the xpan did.
I would go for a digital Xpan, but likely it would not be a full frame. It was
definitely a fun camera. Only problem for me was scanning the results.
