That is the Olympus quality, which suffered a lot since digital age. The
E-10 I purchased in 2001 also had the same focusing problem, fortunately I
found it out immediate after purchase so went back to the shop for an
exchange. Viewfinder tilt is another problem, which is common on the E-3 and
also found on the 2nd E-10 I purchased.
