Since the DOF on a 4/3 camera at 50/1.4 focused at 3 meters is 80mm both
ahead and behind the subject, if it were a Canon, they would tell you to
go pound salt. It's well within the spec. :-)
Actually, I think the spec refers to depth of focus (which isn't quite
the same thing) but close enough. You might choose to read this (or
