No dispute from me. I was just commenting on the complexity of the trade-offs.
It really can get tricky.
Example: Tamron 24-135 on 5D, something far away to shoot. How will full Sammy
frame @ ISO 400, 360 mm, F5.6 compare to
a cropped ~1/7 of a 5D frame @ ISO 1600, 135 mm, F8.
I don't know the answer, but sometimes ask myself such questions. :-)
