JK writes: I have several adapters with emf focus confirmation chips on them. These chips allow the user to program the focal length of the lens and the wide open aperture. I have used a different chip that uses the DOF preview button (not the shutter and I like that) to activate it. One requires a wide aperture programmed in first to use the AF confirm with any precision-- seems to quite good on the CV180/4 though the VF is OK with that lens. (depth of focus on the standard screen seem to be about F4 anyway) It is a pain to reprogram it for the correct aperture. I think it may be easier with the emf chip? Do you find that to be the case?
