Not a problem for me, as I still use my OMs. But the oly digis have
always been overpriced, the E-5 just more so. I'd be tempted at half the
price, but it would still seem a bit dear.
I started to waver when they suspended development of fourthirds. The
E-5 was mildly disappointing, but the price was the dealbreaker. I've
always liked the digi-P*nt*xes, the fact I could pick up a new K5 and a
used k7 for the price of the E-5 just seems utterly crazy. I have
sufficient good Tammy manual lenses to get by without buying any new
autofocus lenses, but would probably spring for a two-lens kit anyway,
and pick up the used K7 later.
I might hang on to the E-1, as it's so nice to use and worth almost
nothing, but the 400 and the lenses are toast.
