I heard this before but I've never understood why. I assume this antenna is designed to receive the entire VHF and UHF TV spectrum. AFAIK, the only thing that digital did was assign two adjacent VHF or UHF channels to a single digital channel to double the bandwidth. There is certainly nothing in that that places the frequencies used outside the range of this antenna. But the receiver? That's a different question.
