Yes, the high resolution file has fewer mistifacts.
Mistifacts are the artefacts that express themselves along edges and look just
like a halo of fine droplets of moisture. In fact, some novices have assumed
that it was caused by condensation on the lens elements in cold weather. It's a
phenomenon rarely seen and poorly understood.
