I've never tried to use it that way but I have loosely fitted the
Varimagni to the eyepiece of my Canon 5D. Unfortunately, I don't have a
Varimani with me at the moment but I suspect it could be fitted one way
or another. The cheap Chinese right angle finders on ebay often come
with adapter brackets to multiple cameras. Perhaps there's a solution
or near solution there with final fitting requiring a bit of trimming
here and there with a sharp hobby knife or file. Other sources of
potential or modifiable adapter brackets might be the plastic brackets
used for rubber eyecups.
