Yes, the G2 looks good, but I don't like EVFs. I could save and buy one for my
GF-1 (and it would fit the LX-5, one of the contenders), but it's not essential.
That's why I bought the G12, to have an all-rounder. It replaced my E-420 and
lens range; I liked the 25/2.8 lens with the E-420, but the GF-1 with 20/1.7
was more usable, compact fun and higher quality in the image department.
I now have the LX3, G12, GF-1 (with 20mm and 14-42) and E-3 (with 12-60,
50-200(old) and 35Macro).
So I can be an "automaton" or a thinking photographer, as the mood strikes me.
Or perhaps I can think while using the more portable cameras . . .
