The Panasonic GH2 has a very passable electronic viewfinder. I find I am using
it more than the rear screen. Perhaps not as compact as you would wish Chris,
but I would prefer the trade off of a larger sensor to a smaller body.

Oh yes, Johnny, within its limitations. I have 2 cameras without an optical
viewfinder, the GF-1 and the LX-3, and each has its problems in bright
sunlight. I use the monitor on the G12 (as with the G7 before it), but the
optical viewfinder is there to use if the light is too bright for that.
