That, my friend, is a hardware issue. (And by the way, I loathe
Vista/Windows 7, I'd much rather have kept the UI from XP). Many, many IT or
purchasing departments have swallowed the "minimum operating requirements"
line(s) from Microsoft repeatedly over the years. Around here, we long ago
learned to at least double the minimum RAM requirement stated. 'Twas a
necessary move for self-preservation, as anything less would have resulted
in having to run from irate peasantry bearing torches and sharp farm
implements.
