Hi all,
I have had my eldest son here for a week and we have been very busy
putting tongue and grove cladding in the workshop/carport. To my shame (
I am not sure why maybe I was just too exhausted) I didn't take any
pictures of him while he was here.
Anyway this weeks photo came from a mishap, I set up the tripod to try
out the 500/8 on some moon shots and when I looked through saw this,
the pine tree we have blocking the view. I later raised the tripod and
took more pictures of the moon, but they just looked like any other Moon
shot.

My also ran is this picture of a rake found in my inlaws garden taken
using the 35-80/2.8 - I have found that with the new Eg-s screen (canyon
5D2) and having my little finger on the aperture ring I can focus
reasonably quickly with the lens open and then I use my little finger to
close the aperture a stop or two to eliminate any focus error. This is
working well and I am getting pretty fast now.

as usual comments and critique welcome.
I would like to add that there have been some amazing shots posted on
the list lately by various members, thanks to all for sharing.
