Thanks. I was aware of that service notice but so far my own 5D's
mirror has not fallen off and thus is not one of the "affected
products". I hope it stays that way. Your note did remind me to
inspect the mirror and I can't see any evidence of it coming loose. I
don't see any evidence of "clamps" on DPReview's photo of the 5D Mk II
mirror so they must have come up with a better adhesive.
