And "backlit" sensors which are layered backwards placing the detector on
the top-most layer. The fill-factor is increased, the buckets shallower and
there is no need for microlenses--which is a good thing because the
pixel-pitch on the cellphone and pocket cameras is such that it has exceeded
the ability to make microlenses that small.
