Hi Chuck,
The external hard drive lights don't show activity during the period when I
am denied the right to disconnect. It has been some time since I had the
problem, but I seem to recall that a few files disappeared, not from the
backup drive, but from the C drive. I did not understand that, unless I
interrupted some sort of a checking comparison operation. I was able to
restore them from an earlier backup, so it was no big deal, but I have been
careful to avoid premature disconnects since that time.
