The difference most people see is sharper images, it depends on your display
card if strong FCC filters were installed and your LCD. Some LCD has
sharpness compensation like my son's 20" Samsung (I don't like it as you
cannot set it to nil), you will only see small difference on the image
sharpness when going from VGA to DVI.
BTW, I see your another post about the loss of top/bottom 3cm image area not
used, it is absolutly not acceptable and strange. You may have a very old
display card that does not support 1920x1080.
