Yes, that's my take on how flattening versus merging layers works in PSE
or PS.
I just got home from a long photo session on top of the Colorado
National Monument with a musician. Loading those images now. As soon as
they are done I'll open CS3 and see if your keyboard shortcut works, but
I am sure it will.
