Yes, it is indeed frustrating. If you are happy with ACR, you should
also look at Elements as it will probably be very familiar coming from
CS3. As for CS whatever version is current, I have no intention on
spending close to my computer budget on a piece of software, let alone
getting on the expensive upgrade train. At they do have upgrades that
support the newer Olympus bodies, a couple of the software titles I
looked at still don't support the E-620.
The learning curve is a fact of life I suppose, but not something i am
really looking forward to. It is one of the things that has kept me from
going with the Olympus software, I would need to learn another program
to process my Ricoh raw files, and any non-Olympus camera I get down the
line.
I will keep you informed on my search and which way I ultimately jump.
