Why obviously? I have tried it. It may be a piece of cake, but the whole
program is rather rich and fattening to me - seems like a lot of
resource use for what I really want to do.
Actually so far it is one of the least objectionable of the lot, but
still leaves a lot to be desired. It took SUBSTANTIALLY longer to
download and install the Elements 8 trial than anything else I have
tried. In fact I damn near gave up before even giving it a try as it
took forever to install!
Like every Adobe product I have used, it is a real resource hog - when
running it uses a lot of computer resources. won't even run on my oldest
machine Fact is, I purchased a copy of elements 5 years ago and never
have upgraded it because of how bloated it is, and the fact that I
rarely use it. There is apparently no version of ACR that will work with
my older Elements and the E-620, which is, I suppose, no surprise.
Actually if I go with an Adobe product, so far Lightroom seems more
suitable for what I want to do.
