I think that most people do a bit of sharpening, Brian, whether it's a
scan of film or a digital file from the start.
But I do only a tiny bit, and only really as an afterthought, I
suppose. Of course, it might be that Aperture has a minimal amount of
sharpening set up for all RAW conversions but it's invisible to me.
And the sharpening I do is only "Definition", not USM or Edge
Sharpening.
