Having watched it now - damn, wish I could afford the trip! Great
place to spend a winter. (Not nice in summer).
Why would you bother with a zoom? The shots are careful setups,
there's no wild handheld work here and look at the use of DOF - great.
The guy sitting on the dock really punches out - it really is like a
moving portrait rather than 'film'.
Interesting choice of lenses - 24mm, 50mm, 85mm and 400mm. Not sure if
I'd have been brave enough to go without a 200mm! The 400/4 DO lens
would be great - very light.
The whole 'feel' is different to regular movie work.
Just watched District 9 - they used RED.
Couldn't do that with a 5D2!
