Well, I tightened the screws and cannibalized a screw from the OM2 to
replace the missing screw. OM2 bottom plate screws are a bit shorter
than OM4 screws but will make do. OM10 screws don't work at all. The
second 'missing screw' is actually the index pin hole for a motor drive?
The last two evenings I took the camera with me on our after work walk.
Managed two frames before the mirror locked up. Same thing this evening,
two frames. However I didn't waste a frame because when the multi spot
quit beeping I checked the battery and got the dread beep, beep, beep so
didn't hit the button. The camera seems to recharge after a short rest
and gives the long beep.
By the way the light was spectacular Monday evening and will post some
shots from the E510, 12~60 backup after i get a chance to pick out a few.
