Yes, IS is really nice, with the E-3 I got very sharp image with OM 135/2.8 handheld at 1/60s. The 5D II was somewhat disappointed, with 50/1.4 at 1/50s, I took three shots to get one that was really sharp. May be it was my own problem but IS really help a lot.
