Could be, cannot be too sure since I'm far from up-to-date
neurosurgery - but is stroke was isquemic and embolic

common sense practice to me.
TAC could be necessary, but IMHO a careful but quick clinical
evaluation can rule out most of its differential dignosis.
Sometime it can, sometimes not.
