Jim, the blood vessels in the scalp don't vary their diameter, nor
with hot / cold temperature, nor with epinephrine. I think it's
because hair needs a guaranteed blood supply, and this leads to the
wisdom of using a hat, either if it's cold or if it's hot. Moose uses
one with the more useful purpose of composing while looking at his
Canon LCD ;-)
Beware, the scalp bleeds bad (always!).
