I really use the A1's LCD no differently than how I used the waste-level
finder on a medium-format camera or the ground-glass focusing screen on a
4x5. I prefer using two eyes when analyzing the framing and for studio,
macro or just plain low-level photography. The LCD is revolutionary to me.
On my vacation, I made the mistake of bringing the smaller of my two
Manfrotto tripods (3001 base instead of the 3021). I must have really
wrangled my neck when trying to get some shots because it was rather
difficult getting a good view of the viewfinder sometimes. A swivel LCD
would have been much more desirable in those situations.
