Hi all,
Besides all thing said, there's another reason to leave the shutter
uncocked: some time after winding (that is, cocking the shutter) the film
starts combing out towards the lens -- it's a very small amount, but
certainly does make a difference when shooting at large apertures (like f/2
and faster). That's why the vacuum pressure plate of the Contax RTS-3 was
