It's a universal digital camera battery charger with adapter plates for
different batteries and it also charges from a 12 volt source. Thomas
Distributing is a reputable source but expensive. You might find
something else for less money.
The USB cord won't cut the mustard. USB voltage is 5 volts and lithium
ion camera batteries are 7.2 volts. There's not enough voltage on the
cable to do the job.
