For high-contrast targets, this is correct. However, Astia 100F is
acceptable as well as the new Velvia 100 if your target ratio is no more
than 5:1 or so. If it's like 8:1, I'd avoid all Fujichromes, personally.
If you use a transluminant target which can achieve greater than 20:1 the
lateral halation becomes quite obvious. Ilford HP5 holds a place of honor in
my experience as the most lateral-halation prone film I've ever used. I've
had highlights from one image leak into the adjacent image!
