Well, I think you've got the formula correct but I still don't think
that justifies testing beyond what you actually intend to use. So what
if a slow B&W film yields 120 lines/mm but you only ever intend to use a
color film with resolution of 60 lines/mm. I'm looking for the "why do
you care" answer.
