I'll bet that, Any Day Now, digicams will gave GPS integrated into
them. I can't figure out what's taken them this long.
As the megapixel wars subside, the scrappy, hungry competitors will
have to do *something* to keep N***n and C***n from "Microsofting" the
entire camera market -- are you listening, Olympus? How about an E-5
with built-in GPS?
I'm unsure what segment this will burst out in. They might take the
"GM model" and put it in the Cadillac first, but with simple GPS a two-
chip solution, someone might decide to start tucking them in high-end
consumer cameras first. We all know how well the "GM model" has been
working lately...
